	iNside Out

_outside-in_

from "other" situations

no one ever thinks of the

_**bad **_**guy**

_:(antagonist)_

in _love story _**situations like this**

(shh, **screwed up** triangle)

_they_ just think of

the **h e** r o e s _(_and) and the **h e r** o i n e s

but from the _inside-out_

i am the **angry**_, horrible_ one.

a n g r y

_**(flipping) horrible**_

_crouching_ (i _always_ have to fit the evil stereotype)

and :_ugly_: and "no emotion"

and _from_ **him-her**

he realizes that

**antagonists** hurt too,

and the h e r o i n e

-laughing!-

beside him _is easy_

but the antagonist is just **hard (and prickly)**

he can –**just**-

lie back down, and just

stick with the _e-easy_ heroine

or he can try and work and

d-_defy_ the fairytales

(shh, he won't do it _though_, **he's too** afraid)

from _her-him_

she h-hurts inside

because he

doesn't _(love)like_ her

he** loves** the (freaking) **antagonist, **

_who loves the antagonist_

the :cause: of all problems?

(shh, she just _wanted _someone safe)

**fairytales have s-such love-ly **

endings, but

he wants nothing but

_a dis-satisfied, lonely, hurting_

wench, not the

_beautiful, pitch-perfect _princess

(but shh, he only thinks that on w-Wednesdays)

i just want every ending except for theirs

"_The thing we're in…" she paused, and continued, "…it's safe, isn't it?"_

_There was a silence, except for the small sound of chewing and forks clattering against plates._

"_Yeah." he said quietly. _

_When they were finished with their berries, and heading down the stairs, she suddenly spoke up from the silence. _

"_You know she loves you."_

"_It's too hard." _

"_But you love her."_

"_It's still just too hard."_
